Who Am I and What Drives Me

Meike Imberg - Portrait

Hey I'm Meike Imberg,

A culture consultant, leadership coach, and advocate for equity and inclusion. I help organisations and leaders evolve their cultures with intention, clarity, and purpose.

My journey took shape through years of lived experience and leadership - it all began with a volunteering year in the UK after completing my A-Levels in Germany, followed by a BSc in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Greenwich.

After holding numerous elected positions and student roles during my degree — and leading two impactful years of change as President and Director of the Greenwich Students’ Union — my passion for driving inclusive, cultural transformation truly took root. These early experiences shaped my commitment to challenging the status quo and and building inclusive environments where people can thrive.

Since then, I’ve built a career at the intersection of inclusion, workplace culture, and organisational change. I believe impact comes from challenging systems and mindsets — not ticking boxes.

At Stonewall, Europe’s largest LGBT+ organisation, I supported public and private sector clients on their inclusion journeys — from inclusive recruitment design to leadership accountability and policy reform. Alongside this, I completed an MSc in Gender, Sexuality and Society to deepen my understanding of structural inequality and identity.

My next chapter took me into corporate inclusion work, where I led diversity and culture strategies as Diversity & Culture Manager at Vattenfall UK. There, I focused on shifting mindsets, embedding inclusion into strategy, and bringing people along on the journey — not just those already engaged, but especially those who weren’t yet.

I’ve since worked with leaders and HR teams across sectors to reframe culture and inclusion as strategic essentials — not “soft topics.” I believe they are powerful levers for change, and the best leaders turn them into simple, actionable truths.

Through ClarityWRKS, I now support clients ready to lead meaningful, values-driven change. My approach blends consulting, coaching, and deep listening — to help people and organisations build cultures where everyone can truly thrive.

I believe inclusive, values-led cultures don’t just happen - they’re purposefully designed, fostered, and lived.

What drives me is building bridges between people and purpose, empowering others, and shaping strategies that bring everyone along on the journey.

Growth happens in the space where discomfort meets potential - that’s the space I help people navigate.

With clarity, integrity, and inclusion at the core, I help design organisations that don’t just adapt to the future

- they lead it.
